Conformal geometric algebra is a model of geometric algebra, which offers compact notations for geometric objects such as planes and spheres and simple operations for operations such as intersection, rotation, and translation of these objects. Despite the computational and storage cost for geometric algebra implementations, there are competitive geometric algebra-based robotic applications like kinematics and dynamics. There are several ways to represent a robot using conformal geometric algebra for example by using points or point pairs, however, this thesis investigates robots represented by a motor consisting of a rotation followed by a translation. This motor can both represent the robot's position and orientation, as well as being used to transform geometric objects. This thesis tried to derive controllers using the Lyapunov theory and conformal geometric algebra. Two controllers were derived, the first for a constrained case where the rotation axis of the rotation was constant and the second for varying rotation axes applicable to an n-link robot. Common for them both was the usage of the logarithm of the motor which created a simple controller with only one control variable to tune and a convergence rate which stopped changing significantly for larger values of the control variable. Both controllers steered both the orientation and position simultaneously that left few choices for altering the performance. However, for the n-link controller, the choice of error function between the reference motor and the state motor could influence the convergence rate of orientation and position compared to each other. In order to use the controller for an n-link robot, the robot needed to have six degrees of freedom or more and avoid singular points, as the controllers do not consider the constraints of movements for the robot.
