Sammendrag
The following project deals with implementing the frequency domain method for a typical offshore wind turbine on a jacket structure. Transfer functions shall be estimated and used to calculate response spectra in frequency domain. The results obtained from stress counting methods in time domain and frequency domain shall be compared. Also the response spectra obtained by performing a Fast Fourier transform is compared to the response spectra obtained from the transfer function and the results will indicate the accuracy of the transfer function.
