This master’s thesis studies a problem on time-frequency localization, namely thatof computing the norm of point evaluation in Paley–Wiener L^p spaces, denotedPW^p, with emphasis on the range 1<p<2. We have sought upper and lowerbounds using methods based on theoretical and numerical techniques developedin the paper An Extension of Bohr’s Inequality by Lars Hörmander and Bo Bern-hardsson, who studied the case p = 1. We have produced lower bounds through anumerical implementation of the Newton–Raphson method, and will present evi-dence supporting that the upper bound is not much larger than these lower bounds.
