dc.description.abstract | IDEAS (Integrated Detector Electronics A/S) er et Oslo-basert FoU-selskap som spesialiserer seg på
designe tilpassede integrerte detektor- og sensoravlesningskretser (applikasjonsspesifikk integrert
kretser, ASIC) for bruk i rom, medisinske og industrielle applikasjoner. Denne oppgaven er basert på deres
nyutviklet NIRCA-MK2 kontroll- og innsamlingsgrensesnitt for hybride infrarøde bildesensorer
(HgCdTe, MCT) og utformingen av en Camera Link transceiver for høyhastighetskontroll
og overføringsgrensesnitt mellom NIRCA og en eksternt tilkoblet enhet, implementert
på FPGA-logikk. | |
dc.description.abstract | IDEAS (Integrated Detector Electronics A/S) is an Oslo-based R&D company specialising in
designing custom integrated detector and sensor readout circuits (application-specific integrated
circuits, ASIC) for use in space, medical and industrial applications. This thesis is based on their
newly developed NIRCA-MK2 control and acquisition interface for hybrid infrared image sensors
(HgCdTe, MCT) and the design of a Camera Link transceiver for providing a high-speed control
and transmission interface between the NIRCA and an externally connected device, implemented
on FPGA logic. | |
