Abstract
English summary
Drones in Healthcare Systems: Insights from a Multi-Level Perspective
This thesis consists of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods and investigates the use of drones for transporting laboratory samples at Oslo University Hospital Trust. The project is a collaboration between NTNU, the Department of Design, and the Intervention Center (IVS).
The thesis explores the challenges and opportunities of integrating advanced technology into complex healthcare systems. It emphasizes the transformative potential of drones, not just as a logistical solution, but as a catalyst for systemic change, encouraging stakeholders to reimagine traditional healthcare operations.
The contributions of the thesis are twofold: it applies the multi-level perspective to understand and learn from an innovation project, and it combines a micro-perspective of drone development with a broader analytical framework. This approach contributes to a deeper understanding of a socio-technical approach to innovation projects and highlights the practical application of the multi-level perspective in similar contexts. Norsk sammendrag
