Dataene blir deretter analysert for å finne Pearson-korrelasjonskoeffisientenog vise statistisk signifikante sammenhenger i dataene. This master’s thesis covers the correlation between the amount of voting power affected by threebugs and the effect of those three bugs on an Ethereum PoS blockchain network. The data forthis thesis is gathered using a custom private Ethereum PoS network with a novel approach tomonitoring crucial metrics network that utilizes tools such as Prometheus which is typically used byreal Ethereum node operators. The data is then analyzed to find the Pearson correlation coefficientto show statistically significant correlations in the data. The research question is ”What is thecorrelation between the amount of voting power affected by a bug and the effect of the bug on anEthereum PoS blockchain?” The conclusion is that there are some bugs with positive and somebugs with negative correlations.
