The topic of this study is inclusive special education, and the purpose of the study is to highlight teachers' experiences with inclusive special education. Based on this, the following research question has been formulated: "What experiences do three teachers in primary school have with inclusive special education?"
The data material in the study consists of three qualitative interviews with teachers in the lower and middle grades. Their reflections and experiences are therefore central to the findings in this study. The findings of the study are interpreted and discussed from a phenomenological-hermeneutic perspective. After analyzing the data material, three main groups emerged: the teachers' understanding and experiences of the concept of inclusion, inclusive education, and the teachers' competence.
The findings of the study are based solely on the teachers' own experiences and reflections, forming the basis for further discussion on the elements they highlight as influential for inclusive special education.
