Abstract
Bunaden er en viktig del av norsk kulturarv, og interessen for bunadbruk har økt siste årene. Oppgaven tar for seg hvordan ivareta kunnskapen om bunadssøm for fremtidige generasjoner. Utfordringene inkluderer å vekke interesse og rekruttere yngre til bunadssøm og utdanningssektorens ansvar å formidle viktigheten av kulturarv i skolen. Skole, frivillige organisasjoner og bunadsentusiaster spiller en viktig rolle i å bevare og videreføre kunnskapen. Dokumentasjon, innsamling av råmateriale og promotering av håndverket er nyttige tiltak. Samarbeid med museer og kulturinstitusjoner kan også bidra til å ivareta denne kulturarven for fremtidige generasjoner. The bunad is an important part of Norwegian cultural heritage, and the interest in wearing bunads has increased in recent years. This study focuses on how to preserve the knowledge of bunadmaking for future generations. The challenges include sparking interest and recruiting younger people for bunadmaking, as well as the responsibility of the education sector to convey the importance of cultural heritage in schools. Scholls, voluntary organizations, and bunad enthusiasts play a crucial role in preserving and passing on knowledge. Documentation, collection of raw materials, and promotion of this craftsmanship are valuable measures. Collaboration with museums and cultural institutions can also contribute to the preservation of this cultural heritage for future generations.
