Innovasjon innen Sentre for forskningsdrevet innovasjon – en metaanalyse av erfaringer fra Klima 2050
Abstract
The Research Council of Norway’s Centres for Research-based Innovation (SFI) have been established to develop expertise for innovation and value creation. There has been a discussion about how the centres have actually been able to promote innovation to the intended extent. This article discusses how innovation has been promoted through one of these centres, SFI Klima 2050.
This article is based on a meta-analysis of overall objectives and the research and innovation results produced. The analysis shows how partner interest has triggered research efforts, testing in pilot projects and innovations. In addition, it shows how this production of “hard” – measurable and quantifiable – results depends on systematic follow-up and involvement that has driven the hard results. The analysis also shows how a key challenge has been to involve all the work packages in the interdisciplinary research and innovation work within the centre.
