Sammendrag
Smart cities and the creation of it are hot topics these days and every developed country is converting their urbanization into smart cites. The Internet has revolutionizedalmost everything including our lives and IoT devices. These IoT devices generatedata streams with multi-dimensions and in the form of big data. Due to enhancements in innovation, smart cities become the source of generating a lot of data thatinvolves multiple stakeholders. For the sake of making processes systematic in smartcities many private companies, public governments, and universities have contributedthrough the literature and smart city frameworks. In this thesis, there is a particular focus on the smart city stakeholders, frameworksliterature. After discussing the frameworks and critical analysis, the thesis purposeda framework including different stakeholders and IoT devices. The conceptual framework is only to solve the puzzle where different components will fit in the smartcities including the stakeholders and technologies in a systematic way. The conceptual framework defines the flow of decisions back with technology, IoT devices, datagenerated and the goals of the smart cities. But to make it integrated with the performances we do need a bridge which is called platforms or dashboards. There are somany types of dashboards that serve different purposes and have been implemented indifferent urban cities around the globe. We also have discussed and purposed the interface of the dashboard concerning process in FME-ZEN research which is a focusedresearch center in Norway regarding reducing the greenhouse effect in smart cities. The purposed dashboard also covers a wide range of processes and stakeholders. Thestakeholders can process different data streams together to generate results.
