dc.description.abstract | Placing a virtual model in the physical world is a complex problem. A part of this problem is finding an exact position of an object observed through a camera.
This thesis presents and discusses a method for finding an uncertain position of an object observed through a camera, using two captured images and the camera’s position and orientation.
An example Python implementation of this method is presented and discussed. While the underlying theory behind the proposed method indicates a working solution, the implementation did not yield the anticipated results.
