Access Control in Home Network Systems

Abstract

In this thesis we examine the possibility to create an Access Control Service, offering Authentication, authorization and confidentiality to support users with remote access to a Home network system. We study different security technologies already available and used in other Access Control systems, and Security pattern which can be used to design a satisfying solution. Based on this study, we propose an Access Control service for a Home network System.
