Abstract
Starting from literature review, the development of thermal comfort models through history will be described. Referring to timeline perspective of its historical development, detailed collection and classification of external and internal factors influencing occupant behavior will be introduced. This approach will help to qualitatively describe and classify adaptive and non-adaptive triggers and contextual factors that influence occupant behavior, and thereof will provide the basis for the construction of a framework for the development of adaptive thermal comfort models. That framework represents the ontology of adaptive thermal comfort model. It will be explained through a theoretical description and represented using appropriate visualization technique.
