Enabling a Ubiquitous Location Based Service on Campus
Abstract
This thesis have looked at two subjects that are a necessary part of a LocationBased Service. Guidelines on how to make a Location Model of the campus hasbeen suggested. The proposed model enhanced already existing suggestionsand provides support for different queries. Testing was done with EkahauWLAN positioning technology to obtain location information. The results of thetesting showed that the technology was suitable to provide a services that requiredaccuracy at room-level. Services that required a finer grained locationestimate where not feasible.
