Goal-Oriented Shopping on Mobile Devices: A Technology Acceptance Study
Abstract
This paper presents the evaluation of goal-oriented shopping for mobile applications using the Mobile Services Acceptance Model to study user acceptance. A prototype application was developed and used as a basis for a Likert scale questionnaire where 22 samples were collected. The results show an interest for goal-oriented shopping applications among the users, although the statistical basis was inconclusive for determining the impact of the different aspects of usage on the intention to use.
