dc.description.abstract | The growth of global market leads to that more and more organizations face drastic competitions in their industry area. The organizations whose products or services can attract a large amount of customers will take much market share. In order to improve competitive capabilities, organizations have requirements for carrying out some reasonable innovations in business processes. In this project, we focus on evaluating profitability of a new business strategy. Felleskjøpet has been taken as an example of agricultural business sector. It is planning to expand an ERP system and to offer additional value-added services to farmers and other business partners. We present four models - two value models and two EPC models according to the current situation and the possible future situation of Felleskjøpet. The analyses for both value models are performed. The comparisons of As-Is and To-Be models are executed by value hierarchy, profitability sheets and net value flow sheets. The evaluations of the future situation for stakeholders involved in a value net are presented based on qualitative and quantitative aspects. Subsequently, how two EPC models support value models for our evaluations has been given. The case study assists us to identify the characteristics of value models. We propose the advantages and disadvantages of using value model for modelling and requirements analysis. In addition, several problems of the value model technique are discovered. What EPC models as representatives of process models contribute to value models are found. | nb_NO |
