dc.description.abstractAn important factor when playing Magic: The Gathering is choosing which cards one should play with. This is an example of a combinatorial optimization problem in a large and bewildering search space. In this thesis, we have conducted a systematic literature review to gain an overview of the different solutions for this type of problem. Based on the findings from the review we have proposed and implemented a system for automatic card selection using a genetic algorithm. This was tested and an expert analysis was performed on the results.
