| dc.description.abstract | Oppgaven utforsker skjebnemotivet i Jeg plystrer i den mørke vinden (2023) av Maria Navarro Skaranger. Dette gjøres ved å analysere metafiktive elementer, samt intertekstuelle referanser til Stjernenes time (1977/2016) av Clarice Lispector. Det teoretiske bakteppet for oppgaven er Patricia Waughs teori om metafiksjon, Julia Kristevas teori om intertekstualitet, i tillegg til Roland Barthes’ «tekstteori». Analysen viser at bruken av metafiksjon og intertekstualitet i romanen, skaper en diskusjon omkring skjebne. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The thesis explores the motive of fate in Whistling in the Dark Wind (2023) by Maria Navarro Skaranger. This is done by analyzing the metafictive elements, and the intertextual references to The Hour of the Star (1977/2016) by Clarice Lispector. The theoretic background for the thesis is Patricia Waughs theory on metafiction, Julia Kristevas theory on intertextuality and Roland Barthes’ «theory of the text». The analysis shows that the use of metafiction and intertextuality in the novel creates a discussion about fate. | |
