Kroppslig læring gjennom kunstnerisk utforskning: en fenomenologisk tilnærming til modellering av naturalistiske menneskeskulptur i leire

Abstract

Denne masteroppgaven er en kvalitativ studie som undersøker arbeidet med kroppslig læring gjennom å skape en naturalistisk skulptur av kvinnekroppen. I denne kunstbaserte forskningen er den aktuelle teknikken modellering i leire, og læringsprosessen er gjennom kroppslig læring.

Forskningsprosjektets problemstilling er: Hvordan kan modellering av en naturalistisk menneskeskulptur i leire bidra til kroppslig læring, og hvilke pedagogiske muligheter kan det ha i skolen? Den undersøkes gjennom tre forskningsspørsmål hva er kroppslig læring, og hvordan kan det knyttes til det praktiske arbeidet med å modellere det naturalistiske mennesket?, hvordan kan jeg skape en naturalistisk fremstilling av menneskekroppen i en skulptur som er inspirert av Edvard Munchs maleri «Livets dans»?, og hvordan kan arbeidet med kroppslig læring og modellering av det naturalistiske menneske knyttes til pedagogiske muligheter i skolen?

Studiet har en fenomenologisk vitenskapsteoretisk tilnærming, og dokumentasjon av det praktiske arbeidet er gjort gjennom en multimodal- og en A/R/Tografisk logg. Med utgangspunkt i dette og relevant litteratur om kroppslig læring, ønsker jeg å drøfte min egen læringsprosess og relatere det til arbeidet i skolen.

This master's thesis is a qualitative study that examines the process of embodied learning through the creation of a naturalistic sculpture of the female body. In this art-based research, the chosen technique is clay modeling, and the learning process is facilitated through embodied engagement.

The research project addresses the following research question: How can the modeling of a naturalistic human sculpture in clay contribute to embodied learning, and what pedagogical possibilities does it hold in the context of schools? This is explored through three research questions: What is embodied learning, and how can it be connected to the practical work of modeling the naturalistic human form? How can I create a naturalistic representation of the human body in a sculpture inspired by Edvard Munch's painting "The Dance of Life"? And how can the work of embodied learning and modeling of the naturalistic human form be linked to pedagogical opportunities in schools?

The study adopts a phenomenological scientific-theoretical approach, and the documentation of the practical work is conducted through a multimodal and A/R/Tographic log. Building upon this and relevant literature on embodied learning, I aim to discuss my own learning process and relate it to the work conducted in school settings.
