Los errores en el uso del subjuntivo por los estudiantes universitarios del primer año del curso académico de español.

Abstract

I denne tesen ble et studie og en analyse utført for å se vanskelighetene som førsteårstudentene på det akademiske spanskkurset har med bruket av konjunktiv. Et oppgaveark ble laget for en gruppe studenter som allerede holdte på med å studere konjunktiv. Oppgavearket bestod av to oppgaver, i den første måtte de fylle inn tomrommene med den passende modusen og bøyningen. I den andre oppgaven måtte de skrive en veldig kort tekst hvor de ga råd til en venn med et bruk at konjunktiv. 14 personer deltok. Gitt det at konjunktiv er et vanskelig og irregulært aspekt av grammatikk, ble mange kvalitetskilder brukt for å finne feil og støtte de følgende forklaringene. Resultatene indikerte at denne grammatiske modusen er vanskelig for studentene. Når de finner seg i en ny brukssituasjon med konjunktiv, vet de ikke hva de skal gjøre. Det ble observert at studentene ville henvende seg til kjente konstruksjoner og fraser for å bruke konjunktiv på riktig måte.

In this thesis, a study and an analysis were carried out in order to see the difficulties that the first-year students in the academic Spanish course at the university have with the use of the subjunctive. A question paper was made for a group of students that were already studying the subjunctive. The question paper consisted of two tasks, in the first one they were to fill in the blanks with the appropriate mood and conjugation. In the second task they had to write a very short text in which they gave advice to a friend, using the subjunctive. 14 people participated. Given that the subjunctive is a difficult and irregular aspect of grammar, various sources of quality were used to determine the errors and back the subsequent explanations. The results indicate that this grammatical mood presents difficulties for the students. When they find themselves in new situations with the subjunctive, they don’t know what to do. It was observed that the students would recur to common constructions and expressions to utilize the subjunctive correctly.
