På cykel i Trondheim En Bachelor om motivation och tillrättaläggning för cyklister i Trondheim

Abstract

Transport är en viktig del av vår vardag, under en vanlig dag ska vi transportera oss till jobb eller skola, till butiken och till våra nära och kära. Samtidigt är transport och mobilitet en av utmaningarna vi stå inför i framtiden. Bilen släpper ut avgaser och tar upp stora arealer i samhället och med klimatmål som ska nås är det viktigt att vi finner nya vägar kring hur vår mobilitet i framtiden ser ut. I denna uppgift undersöker jag hur aktiva cyklister i Trondheim tänker kring sina erfarenheter kring att använda cykel som transportmedel. Vad är det för människor, vad är deras motivation till att cykla, hur blir de bemötta av anda. Jag ser också kring deras tankar hur cykelvägar och annan infrastruktur är samt hur kommunen kan lägga till rätta för att öka andelen cyklister i staden. Uppgiften kan lägga till grund för vidare forskning kring hur cykelandelen i städer kan öka.

Transport is a large part of our everyday life, during a normal day we have to transport ourselves to work or school, to the shop and to our loved ones. At the same time, transport and mobility is one of the challenges we face in the future. The car emits exhaust gases and takes up large areas in society, and with climate goals to be reached, it is important that we find new ways of how our mobility will look in the future. In this task, I will examine how active cyclists in Trondheim think about their experiences of using bicycles as a means of transport. What kind of people are they, what is their motivation for cycling, how are they greeted by spirit. I will also look around their thoughts on how cycle paths and other infrastructure are and how the municipality can make improvements to increase the proportion of cyclists in the city. The task can lay the foundation for further research into how the proportion of bicycles in cities can increase.
