Hvordan formidler Rørosmuseet den immaterielle kulturarven?

Abstract

I denne bacheloroppgaven har jeg sett på hvordan Rørosmuseet formidler den immaterielle kulturarven. Rammen for denne formidlingen har vært Rørosmartnan. Der har jeg oppsøkt og analysert to forskjellige formidlingsaktiviteter; en bokbindings-workshop hvor man i tillegg til demonstrasjon av bokbinding får delta i bokbindingsteknikker, og et håndverksforedrag, «Høvlane i Høs-Knuttradisjon, fra skrubboksen og gradsemsen til stafehøvelen». Jeg har sett på hvordan Rørosmuseet har formidlet disse to aktivitetene og analysert hvordan og i hvilken grad disse har vært nyttige og hensiktsmessige opp imot målet for konvensjonen om den immaterielle kulturarven, nemlig å øke respekt for og kunnskap om immateriell kulturarv.

In this bachelor’s thesis I have looked at how the Røros Museum conveys the intangible cultural heritage. The arena for this convey has been Rørosmartnan. I have sought out and analyzed two different dissemination activities; a bookbinding workshop where, in addition to a demonstration of bookbinding, you can take part in bookbinding techniques, and a handicraft lecture «Planing in the Høs-Knuttradition». I have looked at how the Røros Museum has conveyed these two activities and analyzed how and to what extent these have been useful and appropriate against the goal of the convention on the intangible cultural heritage, namely to increase respect for and knowledge of intangible cultural heritage.
