CII og EEXI

Abstract

Bacheloroppgaven skal ta for seg hvordan CII og EEXI vil komme til å påvirke befraktere. Med utgangspunkt i dette har det blitt utarbeidet en problemstilling som blir støttet opp av fire forskjellige hypoteser, som hver tar for seg et ulikt område knyttet opp mot den valgte problemstillingen. Anvendt teori er hentet fra rapporter, forskningsartikler og relevant litteratur knyttet til problemstillingen og hypotesene.

Innsamlingen av informasjon har blitt gjort gjennom kvalitativ metode, da med fokus på semistrukturerte intervjuer. Samtlige intervjuobjekt har relevante jobber og erfaring innenfor den maritime bransjen, hvor alle dekker grunnbehovet for kompetanse. Hvert intervjuobjekt innehar også en spisskompetanse innenfor det tekniske, digitale eller operasjonelle som angår problemstillingen.

Resultatet av funnene gjort under den kvalitative metoden vil bli diskutert, hvor til slutt hypotesene blir bekreftet eller avkreftet med utgangspunkt i anvendt teori og funnene gjort under metodedelen.

This bachelor’s thesis will research how CII and EEXI are going to influence charterers. Based on this there have been prepared a research question that will be supported by four different hypotheses. Each hypothesis handles a different area in context of the research question. The used theory is obtained from reports, research articles and relevant literature linked to the research question and hypothesis.

The collection of information has been done through qualitative method, with focus on semi structured interviews. All the interviewing subjects has relevant jobs and experience in the maritime industry, where all cover the basic needs regarding knowledge on the subject. Each subject has cutting-edge expertise in the technical, digital, or operational aspects concerning the research question.

The result of the findings during the qualitative method will be discussed where in the end the hypotheses will be confirmed or debunked based on used theory and findings done during the method section.
