dc.description.abstract | Masteroppgaven omhandler tematikken rundt nettverksbygging gjennom verdensutstillinger
For å skaffe ett
nettverksbygging strategier for verdensutstilling og industri messer, og hvordan to forskjellige
former for internasjonale utstillinger påvirker bedriftenes valg for nettverksbygging gjennom
utstillingene.
praksis. | |
dc.description.abstract | The master's thesis builds on the thematic of network building through world exhibitions and
industry fairs. Based on Norway's pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020 and Norwegian companies’
participation in this world exhibition. The thesis will look at theories related to strategic
coupling and how this is used in practice, the thesis will mainly relate to how strategic
coupling is related to affiliation, market share and value creation. To gain a deeper insight into
how this works in practice, three representatives from Norwegian companies that participated
at Dubai Expo 2020 were interviewed in relation to their company’s participation and
expectations for this world exhibition.
Furthermore, the thesis looks at how the companies’ perceptions are compared with the
theoretical use of networking strategies for world exhibitions and industry fairs, and how two
different forms of international exhibitions affect companies' choices for networking through
these exhibitions. This will be looked at in relation to the companies' opinions and
expectations with data from the interviews and seen in accordance with how this relates to
theory and research that exists in this area to date, but also company practice may differ from
the theoretical aspects and findings. | |
