"Kvinnling" i krigens sammenstøt - En sjangerorientert analyse av Torborg Nedreaas' "Kvinnlinger I" (1945)

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgava undersøker gjennom en analyse av novella "Kvinnlinger I" hvordan sjanger bidrar til å realisere Torborg Nedreaas' prosjekt bak novellesamlinga Bak skapet står øksen (1945). Den tar utgangspunkt i Torborg Nedreaas som en politisk forfatter, og legger til grunn at Nedreaas hadde et mål om å nyansere og skape forståelse rundt tyskerjentenes situasjon i frigjøringens kjølvann. Ved hjelp av novelleteori og analyse av utvalgte aspekt ved "Kvinnlinger I" drøfter jeg hvordan sjanger bidrar til å oppfylle prosjektet.

This thesis examines how genre contributes to the fulfilling of Torborg Nedreaas' project behind the short story collection Bak skapet står øksen (1945) through an analysis of the short story "Kvinnlinger I". It is based on a view of Torborg Nedreaas as a political writer, and the assumption that her intention with Bak skapet står øksen was to nuance and create understanding for the girls who had had romantic relations with german soldiers during the occupation of Norway. Through short story theory and analysis of selected aspects of "Kvinnlinger I" I discuss how genre is a part of the success of Nedreaas' project.
