dc.description.abstract | Prosjektet er gitt av Institutt for informasjonssikkerhet og kommunikasjonsteknologi (IIK) ved Norges tekniske- naturvitenskapelige universitet på Gjøvik. Oppgaven er et avsluttende bachelorprosjekt for interaksjonsdesign. Bakgrunnen for prosjektet er å samle innsikt om bruken av robotikk i et hjemmemiljø for eldre. Videre tar oppgaven for seg utfordringer knyttet opp mot sosial kontakt og hvordan velferdsteknologi kan brukes som en ressurs. Oppgaven presenterer et konsept som er med på å løse et større samfunnsproblem ved å fokusere på samspillet mellom menneske, samfunn og teknologi. | |
dc.description.abstract | The project was given by the Department of Information Security and Communication Technology (IIK) at the Norwegian University of Science and technology at Gjøvik. The bachelor thesis is a concluding project for Interaction Design. The foundation of the thesis is based on gathering insight on the use of robotics in a home environment for elderly. Continuing on the thesis addresses challenges related to social contact and how welfare technology can be used as a resource. The thesis presents a concept which aims to help solve a major societal problem, by focusing on the interaction between people, society and technology. | |
