Samfunnsøkonomiske konsekvenser av pandemien

Abstract

I denne oppgaven har jeg drøftet dagens usedvanlige situasjon med lav arbeidsledighet, høy kapasitetsutnyttelse og økende inflasjon. Jeg har tatt med en Keynes modell for en åpen økonomi og sammen med Phillips-kurven satt disse modellene i sammenheng med dagens situasjon. Jeg tar for meg de økonomiske konsekvensene ved korona og tiltakene som ble gjort under pandemien. Jeg har formulert følgende problemstilling som drøftes i oppgaven: Hva er de samfunnsøkonomiske konsekvensene av pandemien og hvilke finanspolitiske og pengepolitiske tiltak bør gjøres fremover for å sikre stabilitet?

In this bachelor thesis I have discussed the current unusual situation in Norway. In Norway today we have low unemployment rate, high-capacity utilization, and rising inflation. I have included a Keynes model for an open economy and together with the Phillips curve put these models in context with the current situation. I have considered the economic consequences of the corona virus and the measures taken during the pandemic. I have formulated the following issue which is discussed in the thesis: What are the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic and what fiscal and monetary policy measures should be taken in the future to ensure stability?
