Hva er maskulint? – Incels interne kommunikasjon på nett

Abstract

Denne oppgaven tar for seg subkulturen incels interne språk på nettsiden Incels.is. Den ser på både det språklige og visuelle med kommunikasjonen. Målet med oppgaven er å forstå incels syn på det maskuline og problemer med å ikke strekke til disse kravene. Den vil også se på ekkokammeret felleskapet faller ned i og hvordan dette former deres syn på den maskuline rollen i samfunnet.

This thesis deals with the subculture of incels and their internal language on the platform Incels.is. It looks at both the linguistic and the visual with the communication. The aim of the thesis is to understand Incel's views on the masculine and problems with not reaching these requirements. It will also look at the echo chamber the community falls into and how this forms their view of the masculine role in todays society.
