Las mujeres de Al-Ándalus y sus contribuciones durante el Califato de Córdoba.

Abstract

Sammendrag: Dette arbeidet handler om bidrag fra andalusiske kvinner i Al-Andalus, under kalifatet til Córdoba (929-1031). Perioden er kjent for sin velstand og glans. I dette arbeidet beskriver jeg en tid i historien der andalusiske kvinner hadde muligheten til å delta med intellektuell og vitenskapelig velstand. Andalusiske kvinner deltok i utdanning, vitenskap og litteratur så vel som på det religiøse og politiske området og hadde en hederlig posisjon i det samfunnet. De andalusiske kvinnene som jeg kommenterer i denne teksten, tillater meg å tilbakevise visjonene til noen historikere som hevder at datidens arabiske kvinner ikke hadde mulighet til å få utdanning, og heller ikke kapasitet til å være kreativ. For min analyse bruker jeg arabiske og spanske kilder, for eksempel kronikker, leksikon, litterære artikler, bøker.

Abstract: This work is about the contributions of Andalusian women in Al-Andalus, during the caliphate of Córdoba (929-1031). Period known for its prosperity and brilliance. In this work, I describe a time in history in which Andalusian women had the opportunity to participate in this period of intellectual and scientific prosperity. Andalusian women participated in education, science and literature as well as in the religious and political field and had an honorable position in that society. The Andalusian women that I comment on in this text allow me to refute the visions of some historians who assert that the Arab woman of the time did not have the opportunity to receive education, nor the capacity to be creative. For my analysis I use Arabic and Spanish sources, such as chronicles, encyclopedias, literary articles, books.
