Kvalitet i kommunal akutt døgnenhet/øyeblikkelig hjelp døgnopphold

Abstract

Artikkelen omhandler kvalitet i kommunal akutt døgnenhet (KAD) og studiens mål var å undersøke sykepleiernes opplevelse av kvalitet på behandling i KAD. Studien ble gjennomført med kvalitative fokusgruppeintervju på ulike KAD-avdelinger, med sykepleiere som hadde jobbet der minimum to år. Transkribert materiale fra fokusgruppeintervju ble analysert før nærmere tolking. Det ble benyttet systematisk tekstkondensering som analysemetode. Funnene inndeles i fire hovedkategorier: 1. Samarbeid med legene, 2. Kliniske tiltak, 3. Organisatoriske faktorer og 4. Utfordringer knyttet til pasientgrupper. Funnene viser at informantene opplevde at det er god kvalitet på behandlingen i KAD. I min studie kom det frem at tjenester som har god kvalitet er samordnet, tilgjengelige og utnytter ressursene på en god måte.

The article deals with quality in the municipal acute bed units and the aim of the study was to examine the nurses' experience of the quality of treatment. The study was conducted with qualitative focus group interviews at various municipal acute bed units, with nurses who had worked there for a minimum of two years. Transcribed material from focus group interviews was analysed before further interpretation. Systematic text condensation was used as the method of analysis. The findings are divided into four main categories: 1. Collaboration with physicians, 2. Clinical measures, 3. Organizational factors and 4. Challenges related to patient groups. The findings show that the informants felt that there was good quality of treatment in the municipal acute bed units. My study revealed that services of good quality are coordinated, available and utilize the resources in a good way.
