Utbedring av Austens - Hånes

Abstract

Fv. 659 Nordøyvegen er et prosjekt som skal gi fastlandsforbindelse til Nordøyane i Ålesund kommune. For en gjennomgående standard, skal derfor tilhørende veger på øyene rustes opp til en tofelts riksvegstandard. Austnes – Ullasundbrua på Haramsøya vil ved åpningen av Nordøyvegen bli en gjennomfartsåre, og er i dag i dårlig stand.

Oppgaven blir utført på vegne av Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune og blir utført av studenter ved NTNU i Ålesund. Oppgaven er utformet sammen med veileder Robin Sætre. Kontaktperson for Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune er Øystein Skare.

Oppgaven presenterer to alternativer for utbedring av strekningen. Alternativene er bygging av en ny veg, eller rehabilitering av den eksiterende vegen. Formålet med oppgaven er å belyse hvilket alternativ som er mest egnet for denne strekningen. Vurderingene er gjort med grunnlag av teori, modellering, kartlegging av eksisterende situasjon og andre beregninger.

Alternativene er modellert i Novapoint og Autocad som omfatter en strekning på 1900 meter. Sammen med resultater fra kostnadsberegning og manuell befaring er det konkludert med at alternativet for bygging av ny veg er mest gunstig for utbedringen av strekningen Austnes-Hånes.

Fv.659 Nordøyvegen is a project that will provide a mainland connection to the Nordøyane in Ålesund municipality. For a consistent standard, the associated roads on the island must therefore be upgraded to a two-lane national road standard. Austnes – Ullasundbrua on Haramsøya will at the opening of Nordøyvegen be an important passage road and is today in poor condition.

The assignment is performed on behalf of Møre og Romsdal county municipality and is performed by students at NTNU in Ålesund. The assignment is designed together with supervisor Robin Sætre. Contact person for Møre og Romsdal county municipality is Øystein Skare.

The thesis presents two alternatives for improving the section. The alternatives are building a new road or rehabilitating the existing road. The purpose of the thesis is to shed light on which alternative is most suitable for this section. The assessments are made on the basis of theory, modeling, mapping of the existing situation and other calculations.

The alternatives are modeled in Novapoint and Autocad, which include a distance of 1900 meters. Together with results from cost calculation and manual inspection, it has been concluded that the alternative for building a new road is most suitable for the improvement of the road.
