dc.description.abstractWhen looking at the different cultures on the Web today, and keeping an eye on the past, one can speculate on what the future of moving images on the World Wide Web is likely to be ten years from now. Three scenarios are discussed in this article: the first involves a new consensus around commercial content on the Internet; the second deals with user-generated content; and the third describes how file-sharing will have changed into strategic file-sharing by the year 2020.en_US
