This report describes four localities of thermophilous deciduous woodlands on the coast of Helgeland in the Nordland county. Three of these localities; Vennesund in Sømna, Mosaksla in Brønnøy and "Liene" near Eidem in Vega have been classified as extremely worthy of conservation. Delimitation of and rules for the proposed protected areas have been worked out.
