dc.description.abstract | This bachelor thesis was written in collaboration with Atea in Trondheim, where a multi-cloud solution was developed with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. The project group consists of two students at the Department of Computer Technology and Computer Science, NTNU. The thesis is related to the study program Informatics, Information technology with specialization in Network administration. The purpose of the project was to create a cloud solution with features from both cloud providers where Microsoft Azure is the foundation. The solution consists of the new desktop and app virtualization service Windows Virtual Desktop. This service provides access to a custom intranet site that communicates with an Amazon Web Service SQL database. The service requires two-factor-authentication and users then have access to all programs that belong to Office 365. The various features have been carefully tested and we can conclude that the finished solution is a multicloud-based interaction system where price and security are prioritized. | en |
