Tittel:
Gynekologisk kreft og seksuell helse
Hensikt:
Hensikten med oppgaven er å belyse utfordringene og konsekvensene gynekologisk kreftbehandling kan ha på kvinners seksuelle helse og hvordan sykepleiere kan bidra gjennom mellommenneskelig samhandling til at pasientene kan mestre sin seksuelle helse.
Problemstilling:
Hvordan kan sykepleier bidra gjennom samtale og veiledning til at kvinner mestrer sin seksuelle helse etter gynekologisk kreftbehandling?
Metode:
Oppgaven er en litteraturstudie. Databaser som er brukt til å besvare oppgaven er Pubmed, Sage journals og Svemed+.
Resultat:
Forskningsartiklene som er anvendt i oppgaven belyser kvinners opplevelser av sin seksuelle helse etter gynekologisk kreftbehandling og hva kvinnene og helsepersonell mener om det å snakke om seksuell helse.
Konklusjon:
Seksuell helse er et tema som mange gynekologiske kreftpasienter ønsker skal bli tatt opp i løpet av sin behandling. Helsepersonell behøver kunnskap om seksuell helse for å kunne støtte og veilede pasientene i dette.

Title:
Gynecological cancer and sexual health
Purpose:
The purpose of this thesis is to illustrate the challenges and consequenes of gynecological cancer treatment, and how this may affect womens sexual health and how a nurse can contribute through interaction to help the patients to handle their sexual health.
Thesis statement:
How can a nurse contribute through conversation and guidance to help women master their sexual health after being through gynecological cancer treatment?
Method:
The thesis is a literature study. Pubmed, Sage journals online and Svemed+ are used to answer the thesis.
Results:
The research articles used in the thesis describes womens experiences of their sexual health after gynecologial cancer treatment and what women and health care providers feel about talking about sexual health.
Conclusion:
Many patients that have been through gynecological cancer treatment wish that the topic sexual health is addressed. Nurses need the knowledge about sexual health to support and guide the patients.
