Nøkkelord: Meiningsfullheit, Recovery, Psykisk helse, Livskvalitet, Empowerment
Backgroound: The Norwegian Directorate of Health did in 2015 establish that mental health services in Norway lacked services for persons with milde or moderate mental disorders. Having been a functional teamleader in a muncipal labor-right lowthreshold offer, I have experienced from a nursing- and organizational perspective the effekts such offers have on the participants. Such offers are likely to be part of the future of mental health services, and if there is no broad understanding of how the participants may experience such offer, it could potentially have major consequences for the participant. Aim: The aim of this Systematic Literature study is to look more closely at the experienced effects of attending an lowthreshold offer from a pasientsperspective. Method: This is a systematic litterature study, It includes 8 research articles of which (tall)is qualititave articles and (tall)are a combination of qualitative and quantitative. Results: It emerges in the study that the social aspect is most reported across all articles. The participant group expresses a personal change in a positive direction and that their participation has given them structure and meaning in life. Conclusion: There is a broad understanding that a combination of main themes: meaningfulness & belonging and empowerment is necessary for the participant to have the best possible rehabilitative experience. The social aspect of participation has been the most important thing for most participants and has contributed to the structure and the sense of belonging. Keywords: Meaningfulness, Recovery, Mental Health, Quality of life, Life purpose, Empowerment
