dc.description.abstractBakgrunn: Det å være barn som pårørende hos foreldre som misbruker alkohol, preger store deler av hverdagen og oppveksten. Vi er interessert i å vite hvordan barna har det, hvilke følelser de sitter med og konsekvenser det kan gi. Fra norsk lov er det pålagt at helsepersonell skal ivareta barn under 18 år sine behov samt sørge for informasjon og oppfølging. Hensikt: Oppgavens formål er å undersøke barnas oppvekst med alkoholiserte foreldre. Metode: En systematisk litteraturstudie har blitt gjennomført med inspirasjon fra Evans (2002) for å analysere forskningsartikler. Resultat: Felles resultat var omsorgssvikt, uforutsigbarhet, vold og økt konfliktnivå. Barna følte skam over foreldrenes problem, de isolerte seg fra venner og familie grunnet hemmeligholdelse av situasjonen. Det var lite kjærlighet til barna. De tok på seg ansvarsroller både for søsken/foreldre og i det praktiske. De hadde ikke en trygg tilknytning til foreldrene. Barna gråt mye og følte seg ensomme. Konklusjon: Barn av alkoholiserte foreldre er en sårbar gruppe. Når foreldrene svikter, påtar barna seg ei stor ansvar- og omsorgsrolle. Barna blir ikke sett og her får sykepleier en utfordring å fange de opp, samt iverksette tiltak. Barna har rett på tilrettelagt informasjon, støtte og oppfølging.
dc.description.abstractBackground: Being children of parents who abuse alcohol affect both their everyday life and upbringing in general. We want to find out how these children actually feel, what kind of emotions they are struggling with and the later consequences this might have. By law, Norwegian health care is required to safeguard children under the age of 18 and provide information and follow-up. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to investigate the childhood to children with alcoholic parents. Method: A systematic literature study has been conducted with inspiration from Evens (2002) to analyze research articles. Results: Common results were neglection, unpredictability, violence and increased conflict level. The children felt ashamed of the parents’ problem and isolated themselves from friends and family. Lack of love and care for the children, which were forced to take different roles of responsibility in the family. Missing a loving relationship with their parents, the children cried a lot and felt lonely. Conclusion: Children of alcoholic parents is a vulnerable group. When the parents betrayed, the children take a big responsibility of them self and the environment. Nurse get a big challenge to discover the children in this group. The children has rights to information, support and get followed up by the system.
