dc.description.abstract | This thesis continues the work from the specialization project, where a tool was developed to visualize measurements from a 3D ultrasound scanning device: the DolphiCam2. This was done in Windows, using the DirectX API and written in C++. For this thesis, the practical usage of the application is looked into. The needs of the operators using the sensor is mapped out and a set of designs are created to improve the user experience and overall functionality. Some of these designs are selected and implemented into the previous application.
