A Digital Hub for Energy and Transport Related Data Services

Abstract

This thesis will report the development of a web-based hub which will leverage data collected by a pre-existing mobile app developed by SINTEF Energy in addition to other external data sets. The hub will be able to help its users in various ways. Among these ways is how to make decisions about where there is a need for electric vehicle charging stations, where there is a need to reduce the pollution in their city, where people are moving throughout the city on specific dates and more. Alongside the hub, a service will be developed for gathering data which will be used to improve the data quality and thereby improve the services provided by the hub.
