Blir generasjon prestasjon syke av skolens krav?

Abstract

Denne oppgaven har som hensikt å se på om det grunnlag for å si at elever kan bli syke av skolens krav. Dette er et tema som har pågått i media og som er viktig for lærere å få klarhet rundt med tanke på å ta vare på elevenes helse i skolen. Jeg har brukt Ungdata sin rapport fra 2018 som undersøkelse i min oppgave da statistikken kan gi et godt svar som kan sies på være dekkende for hele Norges befolkning i ungdomsskolen og på videregående. Jeg har valgt å fokusere på press, stress, problemer med å takle press, fysiske og psykiske plager. Dette settes i kontekst med skole og skal være med for å utfylle svar på min problemstilling. Det vil bli redegjort for hva psykisk helse er, dens forekomst i negativ forstand, fokus på emnet i læreplaner, hvor det opplevde presset kommer fra, hvordan problemet oppsto og Flink pike-syndromets historie. Oppgaven baserer seg på Ole Jacob Madsens og Marit Uthus sine tanker, samt ulike teoretikere som de velger å anvende for å fremheve sine synspunkt. Oppgaven har en tendens til å peke på ulike samfunnsendringer som mulig svar på problemstillingen noe vi får høre om gjennom flere teorier.

The purpose of this task is to look at the basis for saying that students can get sick by the school's requirements. This is a topic that has been going on in the media and is important for teachers to get clarity about for best possible way taking care of the students' health in school. I have used Ungdata's report from 2018 as a survey in my task as the statistics can provide a good answer that can be said to be adequate for the whole of Norway's population in secondary school and in upper secondary school. I have chosen to focus on pressure, stress, problems with coping with pressure, physical and mental ailments. This is set in context with the school and will be part of complementing the answers to my problem. It will be explained what mental health is, its incidence in the negative sense, focus on the subject in curricula, where the perceived pressure comes from, how the problem arose and the history of Flink pike-syndrome. The thesis is based on Ole Jacob Madsen's and Marit Uthus's thoughts, as well as various theorists whom they choose to apply to emphasize their point of view. The task tends to point out various changes in society as possible answers to the problem, something we learn through several theories.
