En vurdering av KRLE-bøkers fremstilling av religionenes fortellinger for 7.trinn

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven vurderer lærebøkene Inn i livet 7 og KRLE-boka 5-7 sin fremstilling av fortellinger for 7.trinn, gjennom en kombinasjon av en kvantitativ og kvalitativ undersøkelse. Oppgaven ser på relevante kompetansemål i gjeldende læreplan, hvilke fortellinger som vektlegges i lærebøkene, om det er mulig å nå kompetansemålene som gjelder fortellinger gjennom elevaktivitetene, og hvordan elever med ulik religiøs/ikke-religiøs bakgrunn kan tilnærme seg fortellingene ved å se de i lys av Breidlid & Nicolaisens modell om fortellingers dimensjoner. Problemstillingen jeg har formulert og besvart gjennom denne oppgaven er følgende:

«Hvordan fremstiller lærebøkene Inn i livet 7 og KRLE-boka 5-7 religionenes fortellinger i KRLE-faget for 7.trinn? Hvordan kan elever med ulik religiøs/ikke-religiøs bakgrunn tilnærme seg disse fortellingene? Og i hvilken grad er det mulig å tilfredsstille relevante kompetansemål i gjeldende læreplan gjennom å bruke disse lærebøkene som verktøy?»

Jeg finner store forskjeller på bøkene når det kommer til bruk av fortellinger og tilhørende elevaktiviteter. Et sentralt funn er at det ikke fins fortellinger fra kristendommen representert i KRLE-boka 5-7.

This bachelor thesis assesses the norwegian textbooks Inn i livet 7 and KRLE-boka 5-7 and their use of narratives for 7th grade. It’s made through a combination of a quantitative study and qualitative study. The thesis looks at relevant goals of knowledge in the current curriculum, which stories are emphasized in the textbooks, and whether it is possible to reach the goals of knowledge that apply to narratives through student activities, and how pupils with different religious/non-religious backgrounds can approach the stories by using Breidlid & Nicolaisen’s model of narrative dimensions. The problem I have formulated and answered through this thesis is the following:

“How do the textbooks Inn I livet 7 and KRLE-boka 5-7 present religions stories in the subject knowledge of Christianity, religion, philosophies of life and ethics for the 7th grade? How can students with different religious backgrounds approach these stories? And to what extent is it possible to satisfy relevant goals in the current curriculum by using these textbooks as a tool?”

I find great differences between the books when it comes to the use of narratives and related student activities. One key finding is that there are no stories to be found from Christianity in the textbook KRLE-boka 5-7.
