An analysis of the technology in Frank Herbert’s Dune

Abstract

Science Fiction har alltid vært en del av literatur, og bøker og romaner kategorisert som science fiction inneholder ofte teknologi. Teknologien introdusert i boken er kanskje kjent for oss, og noe av teknologien kan kanskje være noe som kommer i fremtiden. Teknologi er en stor del av menneskenes liv, selv om teknologi ikke kun er elektriske ting; er det dette folk tenker når de hører ordet teknologi. Denne oppgavn skal se på og analysere noen av teknologien i Dune, ved å bruke begrepet Sosiotekniske forestillinger.

The technology introduced in the book might be known to us, and some of the technology might be something the future holds.
