dc.description.abstract | In this work, a model has been derived derived and carefully formulated to best fit within the framework of direct transcription. A smooth approximation to the upstream weighting is proposed, and shown to work very well. Much theory from a range of sources has been collected, and many results derived to give a unified presentation.
