A DML is a special kind of loudspeaker that works by exciting vibrations in a flat surface. The speaker used for this work is a working prototype developed by E-Scape AS. The main motivation for working with these speakers lays within their advantages: Scalability is not a big issue when planning on creating new speakers or speaker systems and the broad dispersion patterns make it ideal to cover large areas when using them in a PA system. On the downside, as a consequence of the stochastic vibrations created in the panel, it can be difficult to create a flat frequency response.nb_NO
