Abstract
Hensikt:
Aim: The aim of this study is gaining knowledge about the experience nurse has for use of music for people with dementia.

Results and conclusion: Music had a positive effect in interaction with patients. The staff observed positive effects and patients interact well with music in the background. It turned out that the patients told stories that appeared while they listened to music and joined to sing. One of the findings showed that patients worked well during the morning and it was interrupted. This is a very positive effect, which should be used in the working day of the staff.
