Abstract
High-dimensional data is challenging to visualize. To gain some insight in the field, there has been performed a literature research which is presented. Visualization is done to accelerate and increase interpretation of data, and there are many approaches to visualize data that exceeds three dimensions. Some of these methods manipulate the numerical data, and make it presentable in classic two- or three-dimensional plots. Others focus on displaying multiple dimensions at once, using innovative graphing techniques.

An interactive visualization application has been implemented, through the use of a graphics rendering engine. Here, the data is presented in a traditional three-dimensional scatter plot, after having been projected onto a three-dimensional space. The user of the application can control rotations of the data using the computer's keyboard and mouse, and hopefully, gain more knowledge of the data.
