Hvordan tilrettelegger Trondheim kommune for å skape en inkluderende bydel på Nyhavna?

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven undersøker gjennom kvalitativ dokumentanalyse hvordan utviklingen på Nyhavna i Trondheim kan være en inkluderende prosess hvor allmennhetens hensyn ivaretas. Oppgaven omhandler hva Trondheim kommune vektlegger og hvordan myndigheten tilrettelegger for å skape en inkluderende bydel under og etter transformasjonen. Midlertidig og langsiktig aktivisering av byrom, tilgjengeliggjøring av unike kvaliteter for allmennheten og involvering av innbyggere står frem som viktige aspekter i planprosessen.

Through conducting a qualitative document analysis, this bachelor thesis examines how the development of Nyhavna in Trondheim can be an inclusive process in which concerns of the public is considered. The thesis discuss what Trondheim municipality emphasize and how the authority organizes the shaping of an inclusive city during and after the transformation. Temporary and long-term use of urban space, making unique qualities accessible for the public and involving inhabitants appears to important aspects in the planning process.
