Sing Street - En karakteranalyse

Abstract

Denne oppgaven tar for seg en karakteranalyse i filmen Sing street (2016), med hovedfokus på hovedkarakteren Conor, og ser på hvordan funksjon han og karakterene rundt han har for filmen. Tillegg fokuserer oppgaven mye på musikken i filmen og belyser hvordan musikken påvirker karakterene og oss seere. Oppgaven tar for seg ulike teorier fra Engelstad og Smith og selve analysen av karakterene i filmen. Bachelor oppgaven min er en analyse med hovedfokus på hvilken rolle karakterene har for hverandre, utviklingen de går igjennom og hvordan de fungerer i filmen.

This thesis examines the movie Sing Street (2016) through a character analysis. It focuses on the main character, Conor, and examines what function he and the other characters have for the movie. In addition, the thesis focuses heavily on the music in the film and sheds light on how the music affects the characters and us viewers. The assignment deals with various theories from Engelstad and Smith and the actual analysis of the characters in the film. My bachelor's thesis is an analysis with the main focus on the roles the characters have for each other, the development they go through and how they function in the film.
