In this bachelor's thesis, the aim has been to analyse how the mood-cue approach is different in Justice League (Snyder 2017) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (Snyder 2021). The research on which the thesis is based on is the mood-cue approach from Greg M. Smith. This theory is within cognitive film theory. Through a comparative analysis of the films, I will look at scenes from both films and see how the mood is in the different versions. Through this analysis, it gives reason to claim that the mood in Justice League (Snyder 2017) has presented a brighter, more humorous mood compared to Zack Snyder's Justice League (Snyder 2021), which has a more gloomy and dramatic mood.
