Abstract
Denne tekst omhandler min kunstneriske praksis med fokus på min performance ”CARRY-ON!”, såvel som de serielle keramiske skulpturer ”Drifting”, da begge kunstværker vil blive udstillet i afgangsudstilling for bacheloruddannelsen på Kunstakademiet i Trondheim i april 2024. Jeg vil gennem teksten udfolde de forskellige temaer, som ”CARRY-ON!” berører - og jeg vil forklare hvordan jeg arbejder med forskellige kunstneriske medier samt materialer. Derudover vil jeg relatere mit arbejde til allerede eksisterende værker, samt placere ”CARRY-ON!” i den filosofiske og teoretiske kontekst af feministisk teori og ”vital materialism”, ved at referere til Ursula K. Le Guin, Jane Bennett, Claire Bishop og Gloria Gervitz. This thesis examines my artistic practises with a focus on my performance ‘CARRY-ON!’ as well as the ceramic sculptures ‘Drifting’, as both art works will be exhibited at the Bachelor exhibition of Trondheim Art Academy in April 2024. The different themes that ‘CARRY-ON!’ touches upon will be unfolded and I will explain how I work with different artistic materials. Furthermore, I will relate my work to already existing works and place ‘CARRY-ON!’ within the philosophical and theoretical frame of feminist theory and vital materialism by referring to Ursula K. Le Guin, Jane Bennett, Claire Bishop and Gloria Gervitz.
